Casa Amora is a resort in Lonavala, Maharashtra, India. This property falls close to a very beautiful landscape towards the outskirts of Lonavala. The view is stunning from the room facing the mountains, which is exactly what we received throughout our stay. We also made a special request to them, stating that they provide us with the room that offers the best view. And that was promising.
Family vacations have multiple benefits, including the most important one being mental health. We get to learn a lot of things through travel and exploration. I believe there is nothing in this world that can be as best as going on trips to learn about life skills.
The facts that contribute to our well-being are that
1. It can improve our mental health and response to any situation
2. The best part, according to me, is memories that last a lifetime for a stronger family bond
3. Build positive relationships with nature, surroundings, and people
4. Breaks you free from your regular routine and helps you de-stress and refresh
5. Improve concentration and confidence
6. Makes you an explorer and be productive

ACCOMODATION
We choose Garden Cottage. There are also 4 bhk with pool villa and 8 bhk with pool villa.
A garden cottage is enough for a family of three or two. The rooms are taken well care of by their professional management service. I could not find a single flaw here throughout my stay.
We went by December; the weather was just lovely. My daughter had an amazing experience. I have shared a vlog featuring our stay and experience at this resort.

FOOD
I love homemade food. So it is always difficult for me to accept the fact that the outside food was delicious, even though it satisfied my soul. I love to explore food and travel, so I am ok with the fact that once in a while outside food is ok.
So talking about the food here, it was not bad. My taste buds are highly mature, so even without the knowledge of any recipe, I can still comment whether or not they are how they actually should be. We tasted both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. We did not choose seafood here during our stay, so I won’t be able to comment on it.
The morning breakfast was included in the package, and they were good. They served south Indian and continental both. There was also the locally famous dish Misal Pav.
Lunch and dinner are according to our order. Also, if you prefer to go by their menu, like thali, that is also available.
We had a nice experience partying on the lawn with many people gathered that night. There was a barbecue put up and some nice songs. The night was full of peaceful energy. It is a stay to remember. I have shared a few glimpses of what the night party lawn looked like.

SITE
The site was well planned. The architect and other designers have put mindful thought into this plan. The cottages were placed in such a way that they acted as a boundary wall to the site.
There was a lawn in the middle. Which functioned as a courtyard. There wasn’t much outdoor play equipment, which was a negative point.
Without the pool, the kids would undoubtedly become bored. During freezing weather, swimming in the pool is clearly out of the question. It’s chilly, and they haven’t given a pool heater.
The landscapes were not stunning, but they are lush green around the site, so it was nice.

SHOPPING
Shopping isn’t any good here; basically, they sell only chikki (peanut bars), crush, and jelly candies. All those are nice to eat at first, but then later I don’t find them worthy as they simply go into trash at my home. Jellies also have so much pectin content in them that it gives me and my daughter a lot of acidity.
When we go, it is my daughter who requests shopping for some toys again; you can never find a better toy there. They are all repeated collections from my daughter’s closet. So we had to hunt down 3-5 stationary shops to buy a toy for her.
We can go to Bhushi Dam nearby. They sell a huge amount of crockery at a much cheaper price. Varieties of crockery for the home range are available. so you can shop crockery for decor, gardening, kitchens, and bathrooms.

EXPERIENCE
It was really a pleasant stay. I was preferring to have some quiet time this trip, so this resort really met the needs. The rooms were very nice. You can sit from the room and still keep an eye on your kid through the window, which was a plus.
Breakfast and snacks were inclusive for us. The prices keep varying according to the season. So, it’s better to connect them via phone call or WhatsApp message and get the quote that’s suitable for us.
It was a two-night stay. It cost us around INR 16,000 for accommodation during this December-January period. which falls at the peak of season considering New Year and best climate of the year. Food and other expenses are additional.

We went to explore the mall, where we found a wax museum, and it was nice and informative. My daughter had a good time here. Then we also went to watch a small video about space and the formation of the earth on a small screen. Then some shopping here; there is nothing much at all to explore. Just nature and relaxing is the best thing to do here.
